Only English contributions will be accepted. Abstracts will be published in printed proceedings of abstracts (without ISBN), which participants will receive at the conference reception. Full papers including abstracts will be received electronically via flash disks, which the participants will obtain at the conference reception. The reviewed articles will be published as a part of the conference proceedings including ISBN. Published articles are indexed by the most important global scientific databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and others.
Oral presentations of individual papers are in English and take up to 20 minutes (15 minutes of presentation + 5 minutes of discussion). Master’s programme students have an exception. They can present their contributions orally in English, Czech or Slovak language within the student section.
Information and necessary documents for the completion of abstracts and manuscripts are sent to the authors after their registration.
Only papers that formally meet all the requirements of AIP Publishing will be accepted. The template (MS Word) and all instructions can be downloaded as a complete package HERE.
Along with the full manuscript, please also send us a separate abstract, which will be used for a printed collection of abstracts. You can download the template for the abstract HERE. Note: the template for the abstract and for the full manuscript are different. Please send the abstract and the full manuscript by email (see Contact) according to the set deadlines (see Deadlines).
For LaTeX users AIP Publishing has made a formatted template available in Overleaf. For best results and full support, we recommend that you use the AIP Conference Proceedings template in Overleaf. Authors may download either the PDF template or a .zip file containing the template. Follow THIS LINK.
To ensure the same format for all articles, please note that strict compliance with the recommendation will be required for matters where the AIP template acts as a referral. Therefore, consider the recommendations for the layout of pictures or table formatting, etc., as binding. In the authors names, always give the first name first and the surname second. From the AIP point of view, the extent of contributions is determined so that 1-page articles are not accepted. All articles must be full pieces of work, containing a preferred minimum of 4 pages in 8.5 x 11 in format and submitted as a camera ready PDF. There is no maximum number of pages, but it is recommended that the PDF file does not exceed 10 MB.
According to the currently valid agreement between the University of West Bohemia and the AIP, an author is no longer obliged to provide the Copyright via a scanned form. At the time of finalization of the proceedings (approximately in November), the AIP editorial staff will contact each author directly to confirm the copyright issue using an electronic form that AIP will email to each author.
Please send your contributions by email (see Contact) preferably in two formats (PDF and editable doc). The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make formal modifications to your article to meet the formatting requirements.
